Burlington Little School: Design Notes

June 2011

I spent the morning in the gardens at the and it was exciting to see the structures of the gardens taking hold. It is an ongoing battle against weeds and blackberry growing over the neighbor’s fence, but the desired plants are shining through! In the Toddler Area the evergreen, brown Carex are self sowing, the fragrant Honeysuckle is established on the two metal trellises,  and the Choisya ‘Aztec Pearl’ hedge is in full bloom, mature and creating a nice wall of green along the pathway.
